2016 TEXAS LYCEUM POLL

2016 Presidential Election, Transgender Public Facilities, Ridesharing, and the Border Wall

Less than six weeks away from early voting, the 10th Annual Texas Lyceum Poll, conducted September 1-11, 2016, indicates who Texans would choose for U.S. president between Democrat Hillary Clinton, Republican Donald Trump, Green Party candidate Jill Stein and Libertarian Gary Johnson.

In addition, several new and recently debated public policy topics are introduced such as transgender public facilities policy, regulation of ride hailing services like Uber and Lift, and the building of a wall along the U.S.- Mexico border to stop illegal immigration.

Finally, the survey continues to track longitudinal data on what Texans consider to be the most important issues facing the state and the nation, the pulse of the economy, our country's direction, and job approval numbers of our state and federal elected leaders.
