Texas Lyceum 40th Anniversary Report

As the State of Texas evolves, grows, and diversifies, our Lyceum mission has become more important than ever. Our diverse network of over a thousand directors and alumni convenes regularly to focus on national and state issues, and acts as a catalyst to initiate constructive, private, public, and individual responses to these issues.

In July, over 200 Lyceumites from 35 different classes, converged on San Antonio for the organization’s 40th Anniversary Retreat. Together, we celebrated our 40 years of success and planned for the future. Current directors had the opportunity to hear from alumni about their experiences and perspective on the original intent of the organization. We discussed what has worked well over time and where we could improve. The Lyceum is made up of diverse people from all walks of life, and the future of our organization is dependent on continued engagement and feedback.

Find out more about our operational history and the trends shaping Texas and the Texas Lyceum in our 40th Anniversary Report. Thanks to our official data partner, Texas 2036 for helping us tell our story.
