AUSTIN - The Texas Lyceum will swear in Houston energy executive Castlen Kennedy as its 2021 president and welcome 16 new directors from across Texas during its annual Investiture ceremony on January 28 in Austin, Texas. The outgoing president - Austin’s Laura Dixon - will move into the role of Chair and Dallas public affairs executive and civic strategist Sarah Jackson will be formally named President-elect for 2022. The appointments of Dixon, Kennedy and Jackson will mark the first time The Texas Lyceum has been led by a trio of women.

(AUSTIN)  The Texas Lyceum, a nonprofit, nonpartisan statewide leadership organization announced today that Laura Dixon of Austin has been named the 2020 Texas Lyceum president. Dixon has been on the leadership team at Spurs Sports and Entertainment since 2009. She led community engagement for five professional sports franchises and served as Executive Director of Silver and Black Give Back. In 2017 she was named head of external relations for the parent company. Dixon earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and her Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School at the University of Texas at Austin. 

Statewide Leadership Group to host 33rd Public Conference on Workforce Preparedness

(AUSTIN)  The Texas Lyceum, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, announced today that Sanjay Ramabhadran (Ram) of Houston will be sworn in as its 2019 president January 31 at the Texas State Capitol. Ram is a founding Principal at VERSA Infrastructure, an engineering consulting firm specializing in program and construction management, and serves on the Houston METRO Board of Directors. In addition, the premier leadership organization announced the names of 26 new Lyceum Directors (list below) selected to join the association, which focuses on Texas public policy challenges and engages its members in a range of invaluable conferences designed to initiate vigorous and respectful debate.

Statewide Leadership Group to host 32nd Public Conference on the State of Texas Healthcare

(AUSTIN)  The Texas Lyceum today announced that Brad Morrison of Boerne, Texas, was sworn in as President of the Texas Lyceum at the State Capitol. Morrison is CEO and Founder of Innové, a San Antonio based cyber security company that does business with the U.S. Department of Defense. In addition, the non-profit, non-partisan organization announced 18 new Lyceum Directors who have been selected (see list below) to join the organization, which is focused on cultivating the next generation of Texas leaders by engaging in a range of invaluable programming igniting lively and respectful public policy debate.

Johnson of El Paso, President and founder of Management and Engineering Technologies International, Inc. (METI) has been sworn in as their 2017 President.
