In June, 2018, The Texas Lyceum took New York City by storm! Over 200 alumni, directors,

and guests experienced intriguing programming in some of the most iconic venues, including the United Nations, Council on Foreign Relations, NASDAQ, The New York Times and Asia Society. Joined by content experts such as Dean Baquet of The New York Times, Wendy Cutler of Asia Society, Tim Baxter of Samsung, and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick. The Lyceum concluded this experience by ringing afternoon bell at the New York Stock Exchange, an exciting, experience none of us will forget. On June 20-23, 2018, the Texas Lyceum will host a Texas leadership conference in New York City to discuss global trade and relations, as our state represents the 10th largest economy in the world with $250 billion in exports per year, the headquarters of more than 50 Fortune 500 companies and more than 1,500 foreign companies. As business, political, and community leaders, we seek to connect our group with opinion leaders, experts and policy makers to create a robust conversation about global trade, international relations and global security.
