Online registration for Lyceum members is available for this event.

The first meeting of 2014 will leave you hungry for more. With so much popular attention on our food supply and food safety and an entire industry built on the marketing of food and its preparation, it is a great time to explore this topic that affects each of us in so many ways!

Lyceum members will gather for a discussion centered on the future of our food industry in Texas - from farming to safety to the plating of food. We will explore what makes our food industry thrive and what we can do to support the success of the food businesses in Texas. Panelists will delve into government regulation on the food and beverage industry, from inspection to taxes to immigration and beyond.

The conference will also address how the environment will impact the future of food production, and will look at the phenomenon of food as a trend: celebrity chefs, dedicated media, and specialty food and cooking stores.

No registration refunds will be given after January 27, 2014.
